Chamber completes first round of Small Business Focus Groups, discuss downtown economy

Community, Programs,

The Bellevue Chamber conducted the first of its focus group sessions with local small business owners and representatives from the downtown Bellevue area this past Monday, filling our conference room with 1-on-1 (and occasionally 2-on-1) discussions of the current business climate.

The focus group was the first of three sessions that aim to gather feedback and insights from the small business community on the challenges they face and the support they need from the Chamber, and the feedback from all three sessions will be compiled into a report that will be shared with our Board of Directors and used to inform the Chamber's strategic plan and advocacy efforts.

This first session was attended by 12 small businesses, representing a variety of industries and sectors such as restaurants, consultants, escape rooms, and other local businesses, as well as volunteers from our Board.

Miss this one? No worries! We will be conducting two more focus groups, one on Monday, July 15 in Crossroads, and the third and final session on Monday, July 29 in the Factoria area.
