The Watermark at Bellevue celebrates opening of Independent Living community
The Watermark at Bellevue recently celebrated the grand opening of its Independent Living tower with an exciting open house, complete with live music, festive decor, and a custom bar. The event welcomed many speakers, including Jon Duarte, Chief Strategy Officer for Overlake Medical Center; Lynne Robinson, the mayor of Bellevue; and Dale Boyles, Managing Director of Senior Housing at Alliance Residential Company.
Highlighting the importance of senior living options, Robinson noted, “15% of Bellevue’s population is 55 or older … A supportive, elegant facility like this is exactly what Bellevue needs.”
The Watermark’s new state-of-the-art tower joins its Assisted Living and Memory Care units, offering a diverse range of care options in the heart of Bellevue.
Expanding Senior Care Options in Bellevue
The new Independent Living tower offers residents a wide range of amenities and services. With this expansion, The Watermark at Bellevue reaffirms its commitment to exceptional senior care, offering three levels of care for different needs. As Duarte puts it, “in the community environment that’s vibrant and enriching, it’s really special what’s being created.”
A Vision for the Future
As one of Bellevue’s premier senior living communities, The Watermark continues its innovative approach to retirement living. Highlighting this commitment, The Watermark’s COO Karen Mlawsky remarks, “Today is really a lot more than just opening our doors, it’s about creating a new standard for senior living in Bellevue.”
The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce was proud to participate in this special occasion. We congratulate The Watermark team on this milestone and look forward to seeing the continued benefits it brings to Bellevue’s senior residents.
