Chamber tours Avenue Bellevue Towers, watches vision come to life
Years in the making, the Avenue Bellevue project is steadily making progress, and our friends at JTM Construction invited the Chamber to swing by and see the space for ourselves. While still very much an active construction zone, there is no doubt that Fortress founder Andy Lakha’s high-end, intentional vision is finally coming to life.
In the condo portion of the project, every detail is luxurious in nature — floor to ceiling marble bathrooms, teched out fixtures, bathtubs that you could probably live in — and the unobstructed views are hard to beat. The Avenue management team are cherry-picking dining and retail to fill out the Towers’ common spaces, and the Intercontinental team is still holding out for a fall 2023 opening.
“This project is not only impressive because of its size, but because it showcases a unique form of development oriented around conscious design and resident experience,” said Bellevue Chamber President & CEO, Joe Fain. “The private dog run won’t be half-bad, either.”
On our site visit, JTM’s Matt Wagner walked us through top-level spaces like the Intercontinental’s presidential suite and the sprawling condo for Lakha, and explained how the lower levels will be oriented with their man-made roadway running underneath. A rockstar team of architects, feng shui experts, culinary geniuses, and more were brought on to iron out each and every detail, ultimately earning the project a “Development of the Year” award from Seattle Agent Magazine.
While there is still much work to be done onsite, we can’t wait to see the final product upon completion. Stay up-to-date with construction at this link.
