Policy Committees Tackle South Bellevue Park and Ride Closure and City Budget

Nov 11, 2016

As reported at Transportation in November, the South Bellevue Park and Ride Lot is scheduled to close for up to five years, beginning in late January 2017. When it reopens, it will have an estimated 1500 parking stalls and will be known as South Bellevue Station.

Beginning this month, we’ll begin provide updates on where to catch the bus, or how to form a van-share or van-pool during the long term closure and conversion to a rail facility. You can also get assistance with a personalized travel plan at Just One Trip.

If you weren’t able to attend Public Affairs on November 10, you can still get up to speed on the City of Bellevue’s Proposed 2017-18 Operating Budget, scheduled to be adopted on December 10. For a deeper dive, review the actual budget language, as well as outcomes and department information at the City’s dedicated budget webpage.
