After our Mid-Year Economic Forecast lunch, we are flipping the room for a Town Hall meeting in partnership with the AWBI and WA Roundtable to discuss the future of Bellevue's economy. 

All members and Chamber Lunch attendees are welcome.

About the Initiative:

The Association of Washington Business Institute and the Washington Roundtable are embarking on an initiative to engage Washingtonians in shaping a vision for the future of our state's economy.

The goal is to engage businesses and residents around the State to contribute to the development of a compelling vision for the future of Washington’s economy. This vision, and the goals and desired outcomes that are developed, will be used to actively shape policy and action to ensure Washington’s growth is strategic and supports economic prosperity and quality of life in every county. 

The groups are hosting town hall meetings across the state, engaging hundreds of business and civic leaders to hear their priorities and dreams for the future of Washington’s economy. They are also commissioning a large-scale statewide survey of Washingtonians, which will be used to build the foundation of a vision and a plan that will be launched in 2024.

Our discussion will include questions like:

• What are the biggest issues facing your organization today?
• What does your community need to solve to be thriving in 2040?
• What trends do you think will affect you and the state of Washington over the next 15 years?
