This year's Annual Gala will include our second Community Spotlight, presented by KeyBank and Alaska Airlines. As members of the Chamber Board and representatives of the local business community, please review the following nominees for each category and complete the survey at the end of the page to cast your vote.

Owned by Aegis Living, Queen Bee cafes nuture moments of human connection over a cup of coffee and create a positive social impact in the neighborhoods they serve. Through the Clyde Hill location, the café supports Bellevue LifeSpring.

Allegro Pediatrics is committed to partnering with our local communities to enrich and improve the health and safety of children. They are proud to have supported and partnered with over 15 local organizations. Their team also participates in a supports community events across the Eastside.

GLY Construction

Rather than a top-down approach to corporate giving, GLY looks to its employees to dictate where to direct their efforts. This grassroots style inspires employees to get involved in the projects they deeply care about and identify the real needs in the community. GLY is a founding member of the Forterra C3 Program, an annual supporter of the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and an annual participant in the Fred Hutch Obliteride.

Local chef and restauranteur John Howie has chartered and delivered over 10,500 meals to healthcare workers, first responders, and nonprofit welfare organizations like the Salvation Army and the Boys & Girls Club Bellevue chapter. It’s been his team’s way to help support our community and nourish families in need.

Strong Tower Consulting

This certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise and Women-Owned Business Enterprise practices inclusion consulting, a method that applies the power of diversity to solve problems. It has adopted a new approach to workplace giving called Minute-by-Minute philanthropy, where the company donates $1 to charity for every billable hour.

NONPROFIT LEADERS

Bellevue Clubhouse

The Bellevue Clubhouse is dedicated to providing mental health services by offering a space where those recovering from mental illness can work together on events within the community. Their many events include Clubhouse Giving Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness for mental health, and HERO House 5K, a fundraiser to benefit clubhouse programs.

Bellevue Schools Foundation

The Bellevue Schools Foundation has been a catalyst for positive change for public K-12 schools by increasing funding for programs and amplifying diverse voices. Recently, the foundation supported students and educators in transitioning back to school through the pandemic and has aided arts programs in the district by providing grants to music programs.

Hopelink

Hopelink is an organization that serves King County by providing programs such as food and financial assistance, employment services, family development, and more. In the last year, they have distrubited over 2 million meals, provided over 100 families with housing services, and distributed over $3 million in energy assistance.

Jubilee REACH

Jubilee REACH is an organization that builds community and provides services for students and families. They partner with the Bellevue School District to provide before and after school care, tutoring, and medical care. In addition, they hold multiple community building events and provide quality goods through their thrift store.

Leadership Eastside

Leadership Eastide works to connect our community's leaders, promote connections, and address important issues. They offer leadership courses that focus on adaptive leadership, finding value in different perspectives, and understanding diverse communities.

Youth Eastside Services

Youth Eastside Services helps youth in the community by advocating for a safe and equitable community through outreach and education. Services that are provided to uplift the community include family counseling, substance use treatment, early childhood support services, and other inclusionary programs.
