Bellevue Blitz Roundup: Bellevue Props One and Two Passing; Eastside Men’s Homeless Shelter Update; 114th Avenue SE Project and Other Construction Closures
Bellevue Propositions One and Two Approved by Voters
In September, the Chamber Board voted to endorse Bellevue Proposition One, relating to fire services and Proposition Two regarding Neighborhood Safety, Connectivity and Congestion Relief. While election results won’t be certified until November 29, both measures lead comfortably beginning election night with Prop 1 at 57% and Prop 2 at 54%.
Eastside Men’s Homeless Shelter Update
Earlier this autumn, we reported that the City of Bellevue was holding two community workshops on the Eastside Men’s Shelter and Supportive Housing project, proposed for siting on public land near Eastgate Park and Ride. Council is scheduled to receive an update on the project, including public feedback, at the Extended Council Study Session on November 28.

114th Avenue SE Project and Other Construction Closures
My favorite back street route to the Chamber office, 114th Avenue SE has been closed between SE 6th and SE 8th for utilities work and is scheduled to reopen on Friday, December 2. You can keep on top of this and other utilities or construction-related closures throughout the winter months here.
