Community Meetings on Proposed Men’s Homeless Shelter
For many years, Congregations for the Homeless has quietly gone about the business of providing both emergency services and a day shelter for homeless adult men living on the Eastside. However, the existing Eastside Winter Shelter needs a new home and a potential site on public land has been identified in Eastgate.
Two community meetings have been scheduled for Thursday, September 29 and Thursday October 27 7-9 PM at Champions Centre, right near the entrance to Bellevue College. Don’t miss the opportunity to support this important initiative and shape the site selection process for a new emergency shelter and transitional housing.
