Pivotal Commware
, a metamaterials startup backed by Bill Gates, has secured financing to help roll out antennas for 5G wireless data services. One line of antenna is due to be shipped out beginning in December and should start appearing next year.
5. Bow Down to Marketing
The NCAA Board of Governors voted unanimously to “permit students participating in athletics the opportunity to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness in a manner consistent with the collegiate model.” 
While light on specifics, this news possibly preempts a law suit on the matter while opening the doors for student-athletes to personally profit from the highly-lucrative industry of college sports.
