3. Bellevue Businesses Support Local Men’s Shelter
Last week, with the generous support of Bellevue businesses, the Bellevue City Council celebrated the expansion of the Congregation for the Homeless winter shelter into a year-round facility. Roughly $750,000 was raised to bring the shelter at Lincoln Center up to code; improvements are scheduled to be completed in November.
In the meantime, a temporary overnight shelter will open
next month at t
he former First Congregational Church on NE 8th.
