The Bellevue Entrepreneur Center (BEC), a division of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, provides the counseling and resources for small and start up businesses in Bellevue and on the Eastside. With a focus on women and minority-owned businesses, the BEC has the following vision and mission.

Vision: Nurturing the American dream of small business ownership to strengthen and enrich our community.

Mission: To provide the counseling, education, connections and resources for women owned, minority owned and other underserved and aspiring businesses to overcome the barriers to business success.

The programs and services of the BEC are open to ALL businesses on the Eastside, whether they are a member of the Bellevue Chamber or not.  The BEC provides small businesses on the Eastside with the following products and services:

  • Counseling and Mentoring: One-on-one counseling or mentoring of current and would-be business owners, including a free initial one-on-one consultation to discuss a business issue or see how the BEC can serve you.
  • Referral and Professional Services: Referral of clients to the appropriate private or government services to solve specific business issues and access to a network of professional service providers.
  • Professional Development: Basic to advanced business education programs to help businesses and business owners get to the next level.
  • Small Business and Micro Loans: Small business loans administered through banks and partner organizations.
  • Tools and Resources: Access to tools, resources and information to help businesses to succeed. For a list of government agencies with resources for small business, click here.
